Jagiellonia Białystok starts the new PKO BP Ekstraklasa season on 25-26 July. The team will play against Wisła Kraków and then against Korona Kielce. The new PKO BP Ekstraklasa season will be inaugurated by Korona Kielce, which will play against Jagiellonia Białystok in the last weekend of July. A week later, the team will play against the vice-champion of Poland, Górnik Zabrze. The Ekstraklasa SA has announced the schedule for the new season. The last autumn series of matches will be played on 12-13 December, and the season will end on 22-23 May. The exact dates of the 1st round will be published after the draw of the first rounds of the European cups, but due to the participation of four clubs in the elimination rounds of the Champions League and the Conference League, we already know that Lech and Górnik will play on Saturday, while Raków and GKS Katowice will start the season on Sunday. In the new season, as in previous years, clubs participating in UEFA competitions will be able to postpone two league matches: one during the qualifying rounds Q1-Q3 and one during the period between the play-off round and the league phase. On the 5th round between the play-off phase, matches between teams participating in European cups will be played: Raków Częstochowa will play against Górnik Zabrze, and Lech Poznań will host Jagiellonia Białystok. In case of a change of date, the matches will be played on 1-2 September, immediately after the 6th round, during the 1st round of the Polish Cup. GKS Katowice will play in the 5th series of matches against Wisła Płock and, if necessary, the postponed match of the Katowice team will be played at a later date.
